A NEW SCHOOL YEAR

We started a new course; we met with the same friends of last year, all ready to study hard, there are the same cooks as the last year. We started second course, it is a little more difficult than first. They changed some teachers. They put a new virtual platform to study; it is more controlled than the other virtual platform. The teachers have more control if we do the work.

The 12th of September we started the school year, I was so nervous cause I started a new school year. I’m in a secondary school because I am 13th years old. I’m in 2nd of ESO. Something has changed like our teachers we have new ones. My first teacher is Ester and she is very nice as a teacher she is so demanding but that’s so good for our level. Other teachers are:
Carles (technology), Neus (Maths), Rosa (optative lessons), Ester( English and social science), Francesc (P.E.), Mercè (V.I.P.), Dolors (Catalan), Ramon (Spanish), Vanessa (ICT).
There are new things about the timetable; we have to have classes of 60 minutes, to finish I just want to say that the teachers are magic they make that 60 minutes feel like an eternity!
NEWS ABOUT THE FIRST DAY FROM SCHOOL by Claudia Cases
A new school year started.
The first day in my school was great, I saw all my friends. In my class we have a new student. And three students repeat and also are in my class. This year there are some news. This year we go to a different class from last year. Our class is bigger, brighter and hotter than the last year. Some teachers are different from the last year. Dolors teachers Catalan, Ramon teachers Spanish, Josep teachers Sciences, Ester teachers History, English and tutoring. Neus teachers Maths, Mercè teachers Art and Rosa teachers Optional. This year we do one hour for each subject.

I star this New Year, this year is different, and my teacher is different her name is Esther Ginestà and the class is different. This new year 4 new students arrived in my class, their names are Iman, Mohamed, Edu and Marc This year one student goes to the U.E.C .The class is smaller than the last class, but this year there are more students than the last year. The class has got a digital blackboard. This year the school starts 5 minutes before and the days we finish 2:05 (5minutes later) this year we have got 5 minutes less in the playground.

This year we are studying 2nd ESO. The first day in the class was very boring because every teacher explained to us the rules of the school.
Now we have a new class. The class is smaller than the class we had last year. It’s hotter too.
We have a new teacher, she is Ester. She teaches two different subjects: Social Science and English.
The teacher of V.I.P is new. She is Mercè and she is from Cardona, next to Solsona.
This year we start the classes in the morning at 8:55.We have classes of one hour.
Last year we started the school with computers. We will do class with computers every year until we will finish ESO.

· My school is Escola Arrels. This year I start 2nd. In my class there are 30 people, and 4 are new . In the school there are about 400 students and 25 teachers. My teacher is Ester Ginesta. I do different subjects: English, mats, science, Catalan, Spanish, Plastica, Geography and History, religion, P.E, I.T, and other subjects. In the school there are a lot of classes, a secretary, a library, a workshop, a dining, a music class... We have new hours because the time is changed. We have a big playground with 2 football grounds, a tennis table, fountain, covered playground...

My school is Escola Arrels II, is a big school. This year in my class there are 4 peoples new , we have a new teacher his name is Esther Ginesta. This year in the school changed time, we have many subjects: Angles, art ,P.E., Catalan, Spanish, Geography, science… We use a other digital book. There are a new teacher in a Dinning. We changed class, is a little small. In the class we have a wardrobe. In the school there are about 400 students and 30 teachers. In the school we have 2 football ground and a basketball ground. In the school there are 2 buildings.

This year we start the classes five minutes before because the classes should be for one hour.
THE NEWS IN NEW YEAR by Alba Masana
I change the level, the teacher and the classroom are this new year. This year I have got a cupboard, to put the books. I change some teachers and I do different subjects. Last year I studied music and this year I don’t, but this year do art. There are new monitors in the dining room. Another piece of news is this year we don’t have global exams, but the people who fail they will recuperate in September. The time has also changed, We do each subject different time.

I’m now in 2ndB level. It’s I am not frighten because it’s my second year in this school and I know how work. But I have got new teachers and new subjects, and I believe that I am ready. We started in the 12th of September, and the things aren’t changed, yet. The teachers are very funny and strictest. Now, that we’re older and we know that the things are more difficult and we’re making more projects and exams.
The things change, and we, too. We are more mature, we strain very hard for we take good marks and result.
This year there’s a new subject, plastic arts. I like very much this subject because identify with it. Also, there are new teachers like Merce of plastic arts and Vanesa of computer class and new dining instructors, Meri and Merce.
This year I go in a different class that it’s bigger and hot. Also, we have got a new tutor, Conxita.
And now is time for enjoy the year and strain every more.

This new school year started three days ago, there are a lot of changes this new school year, new teacher, new hourly, new classmate, new class, new time and new level. The new teachers are good and I like his and her manner to do class, last year I have to do class this teachers: My tutor Josep, Olga, Conxita, Francesc, Gerard, Dolors, Lluís, Ester, Jaume and Carles. This year it incorporate new teachers to teach my class: Ramon, Vanessa, Mercè and Neus. The new hourly it’s a very rarely hourly, it changes the time to do class, the last year we do fifty-five minutes of class and this year we do a complete hour. Our new classmate are form Morocco and the other from Rumania, a girl that last year come with me this year she repeat and she go with the boys and the girls that course a level inferior. The new class is a very hot class on the eastern part of the school, the class from last year it was bigger than the class from this year, in the class from this year there are six or seven wardrobes to put the books here and 29 little wardrobes to put the computers here too. This level it was not very change from the last year but is a little bit more difficult.

My name is Mireia and I’m studying second of ESO.
In my school, there are new rules. The students of first, second and third of ESO are working with laptops in the classroom.
But also we use books for some subjects. There is one digital book for each subject. Each class has got a blackboard with digital a pen.
It is fun, but I preferred books. It is complicated to study with the laptop.

I’m now in 2nd B. That’s a new school year for me. I’ve got new teachers, new class, new partners, and new subjects.
For example, I have got Rosa (my English teacher), Neus, Vanessa and Mercè. I didn’t have these teachers last year, but I have Josep, Conxita, Ester, Francesc... I had these teachers last year.
I’ve got a new class with new partners. It’s a very hot class, I like more last class because it was a cold class. There are new partners because some people repeat last school year. There are some new partners that came from other cities, near Solsona.
I’ve got new subjects, for example, “The reporters”. It’s an English subject. This is a subject that you can choose when you start school. I’ve got another new subject that’s VIP. It’s like art.

I’m Paula. This year in my school there are news.
In my class 2nd ESO B there are two new boys but last year there are repeat. One girl is also repeating and now she isn’t in our class and another girl has gone to another place.
In 2nd ESO A is one new boy and three repeaters. And one boy has gone to the UEC.
