Easter is a celebration of Christians.
Easter is the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ. For Christians the important moment is the dawn of Easter Sunday.
For the others Easter are time for holidays and giving chocolate Easter eggs.
When is Easter?
Easter is in the month of April. The date changes every year. It can be 22th March to 15th April. It changes because the moon calendar.
“Pentecostal.”
Pentecostal are 50 days after the Easter day.
What happened on Easter Sunday?
Jesus rose from death on Sunday. He said to the apostols that they would kill him and three days later he would live again.
Easter egg customs.
The chocolate eggs are typical in Easter. There are different types.
Special Food at Easter.
This day people prepare special food. After the weeks of Lent.
Some food are: Boiled eggs, roast lamb, custard tarts, Easter biscuits and simnel cake.
Easter Holidays.
Many families go away on holidays for the Easter Holidays.
