The plot:

Bruno is a boy who lives in a big beautiful house in Germany but for work he must go to live in another country. His father is the strict captain in a Nazi expedition in a town called Auchviz, and all his family go there with he. Auchviz is a sad town and Bruno hasn’t got any friends to play, there aren’t any school there and his mother and his father employ a particular teacher to teach him.

Bruno is a boy who like to explore the territory, one day during his exploration he listen a strong noise and he go to this place. Some days ago, he watch throw the window people with striped pyjamas and he imagine that they are farmers. When he arrive at the noise place he remember that this is the place that he watch throw the window. He explore this place and he watch a boy on the other side in the fence, his name is Samuel, Bruno and Samuel starts his friendship with regularity and sometimes Bruno take aliments to Samuel, Samuel explain to Bruno his live at the other side the fence and his live before he stay there, he explain too things from his family and so during one year.

One day Bruno’s mum and Bruno’s dad decide that this place isn’t adequate for Bruno and for Gretel, Bruno’s sister, and they decide that all the family moved house at another place, Bruno explain this to Samuel the day that he is sad because he doesn’t find his father, Bruno decide that he help his friend. Bruno take off his clothes and go at the other side of the fence, when he is in the other side he wear a striped pyjamas that Samuel take and give to him. It’s raining and the captain of this place say that everybody must go in a place with ceiling, Bruno and Samuel go there, in a close place with a lot of people, then the captain go out and close the door, after that, the room was complete with a gas, a toxic gas and everybody that there are there die, include Bruno.

It’s time to go and Bruno’s father search Bruno but he doesn’t appear, finally Ralph find Bruno’s clothes in the fence and ask to the people that look for the people with striped pyjamas and the guard says to him that they are in the gas room. When Ralph goes there doesn’t find anything and cry because for his rage to the people that there aren’t Nazis his son is died and never and he lift his place of captain.

Personal opinion:

I like a lot this film because it’s very beautiful and the content it’s very good, what you do to the others can be than to you by the others. This film teaches us the values of life and the friends don’t consider the social condition to the others. I read the book of the film first I watch the film and the book is better than the film because the book says more details and you imagine the scene and the things that they think and in the film you watch everywhere and it’s realist.
