JANE ASKS FOR YOUR OPINION

I live in the country and I'm happy abou it. I'm surrounded by beautiful countryside and I like the calm there. But when I go to the city I'm happy to visit some places there.

And you, do you prefer the country or the city? What are your reasons?.

Thank you to everybody who is going to answer me.

Jane

SOME PEOPLE ANSWER

Ethel, from Bath.

I like living in the city.I like the busy streets and the atmosphere there. The countryside is nice too, you can do some long walks but it's too calm.

John, from Cheddar.

I live in the country and I find it fantastic. It's calm being in the nature. But, from time to time, I need to go to town. It's different, the town is great fun.

Betty, from Manchester

I live in a city and there's a lot of pollution here. It's better to see trees than chimneys from factories. It's nice to see the white fields in winter, green in spring, yellow in summer and brown in autumn better than fields full of factories. And the birds singing are nicer than the noise of cars in the streets.
I prefer the country, but the city is n ot bad!

  4. The city and the country are beautiful, the cities are interesting because there are cinemas, museums, parks, restaurants, shops and a lot of amazing things and places to visit. But I prefer the country because it’s calm, there are forests, animals and it is great to do excursions and visit the field. The air is cleaner than the city because there are a lot of trees and flowers.
I agree with the opinion of Betty because the city is not bad, but the country is more beautiful.
